The “Margot” chair dates from the 1940’s.  Stripped back to its beech frame, it has been traditionally upholstered (with springs, coir fibre and horse hair).

Mid-century modern – 1940’s (re-upholstered in 2022).

 

The fabric

“Beanstalk Linen – Brights” – oatmeal-coloured linen with a bright botanical print of flowers and vines.  A medium weight fabric suitable for “occasional” upholstery.

The russet red piping is by Linwood – Omega Velvet – Carnelian.
