Description
This set of G Plan dining chairs were made during the 1950’s and have the embossed gold G Plan manufacturer’s mark. The chair frames are made from a light oak and have been treated with Danish oil and waxed to highlight the beautiful golden colour of the wood grain. They have been upholstered in a deep turquoise wool fabric. This set of chairs would look stunning in a mid-century modern interior and will last another lifetime.
The chairs are in excellent “vintage” condition. This means that as the chairs have some age to them, there are a few marks and scratches (please look closely at the photographs). There is also some natural dis-colouration on a couple of the chair legs, as is common in oak.
The seat pads have been recovered in a 100% wool fabric by Bute, a British company that specialises in high quality, colourful wool upholstery fabrics. The seat pads are removable, allowing for an easy fabric update when desired.
