A charming, colonial-style rocking chair from the 1930’s.  With a caned back and seat, a cushion has been added for comfort.  The cushion fabric is a chintz style that perfectly compliments the rich natural colour of the wooden chair frame.  This chair would be lovely in a bedroom, adding a little vintage twist to any space.

Edinburgh Weavers Blyton Turquoise – 55% Linen 45% Viscose.

 

Materials

Chair frame: stained beech and an unidentified hardwood | Cushion: linen-viscose mix; inner: foam & polyester.

 

Condition

Very good vintage condition.  As this piece is vintage, there are some signs of wear and tear  These haven’t been repaired or touched up as that would alter the integrity and look of the chair.  Please look carefully at all the images.  There is some minor damage to a small area of the caning on the seat.
