Erica has been browsing fabric collections for inspiration this season and stumbled across this fabric that she used to tart up a set of mid-century dining chairs for herself. The fabric is part of Kirkby’s 10 Year re:edit collection - 10 of their most iconic designs from the last 10 years (and H & H sell them all!).

Erica has just completed the restoration of this beautiful pair of traditional wing armchairs. Our client was helped with her fabric choice by her interior designer sister @gemmawrightdesign), hence the great photos! Our client was bold in her choice of teaming together a geometric pattern with a mustard yellow piping. These chairs are a perfect example of how contemporary fabric can look great on traditional pieces. We love them!

The main geometric fabric is by Linwood - Tango Weaves - Bolero - Parakeet.

This perfectly designed chair was rescued from the street by our eagle-eyed client. The wood was painted black!!! Seth painstakingly sanded it down, stained and waxed it. And then we made the cushions in this burnt orange wool fabric by @linwood (Westray).
