Betty, the ‘Pink Prosecco Van’ is owned by Annie Hawksley. ‘Betty’ is a vintage style mobile bar serving chilled Glera Frizzante on tap and in bottles. ‘Betty’ can be hired for weddings, all sorts of celebrations, garden parties and corporate events. She also loves to attend festivals and shows. ‘Betty’ served beautifully chilled Prosecco at our ‘Party on the Platform’!
This is a boutique interior design studio based in Bristol and owned by Zoë Hewett (currently called Zoe Hewett Interiors). Offering a bespoke interior design service, Zoë helps busy homeowners who are overwhelmed by choice, overloaded by decision making or simply can’t ‘see it’ to achieve practical, stylish homes that they will love living in. Zoë also works with small businesses to develop their personality and brand story. She also offers one day workshops in Interior Design. She has a regular column in the Bishopston Voice as well. Flo-Jo is an enchanting fabric shop on Bristol’s Gloucester Road, owned by the charming duo Dee & Erika. They stock an amazing selection of fabrics, haberdashery, sewing kits, patterns and much more, which they continuously update, and also run sewing courses and sewing parties. Dee & Erika can often be seen in the shop wearing their own beautiful creations! One of our favourite shops in Bristol.
A delightfully quirky shop located behind St Nicholas Market in Central Bristol, run by Arthur and Mollie. They are great at sourcing unusual vintage, antique and Mid Century Modern furniture, lighting, art and curiosities.
A family-run business with a shop on Bristol’s bustling Gloucester Road. They sell beautiful furnishing fabrics and offer a made-to-measure service for curtains, blinds, loose covers and soft furnishings. Owned and run by the lovely and very helpful Marylou.
An independent soft furnishing and dress fabric retailer, with branches in Bedminster, Bristol, and Cardiff. They have an extensive range of buyoff-the-roll fabrics and sample books. You can get a real bargain here!
An elegant but beautifully quirky interiors business with a stunning showroom on Bristol’s Whiteladies Road. The owners are Ryan Whittaker and Pete Eastwood, “the Boys who Sew”, and they have a talent for sourcing eye-catching, luxurious fabrics, wallpapers and paints. They also make curtains, blinds and cushions. Well worth a visit! Two fabric companies they work with are two of our favourites too: ButeMoon & Sons
The largest auction house in Bristol. They hold monthly auctions for Antiques and Collectables, and quarterly specialist auctions in Toys, Military & Transport, and 20th Century, Retro & Industrial Interiors. You can attend an auction at their premises in Hanham or bid live online at the time of each sale. They also host online-only sales every month. A treasure trove of unusual pieces!
Sophie Colette is a printmaker and lampshade maker. Sophie’s work focuses on drawing and print, inspired by plants and landscapes. Sophie designed an eye-catching piece of fabric for our first custom-made footstool. She has recently moved to Clevedon to be inspired by the beautiful countryside and coastline.
