Take this opportunity to buy it now as we will not be making any more editions. Available to buy now on Vinterior:
A Napoleon III Chaise Longue circa 1920’s
This distinctive piece is in the style of the chaise longue design made famous by Napoleon III in the 18th century. This version dates from the 1920’s. It needs a full restoration service but once we’ve worked our magic on it, it could look out of this world! We think a richly coloured Timorous Beasties fabric would bring it back to its former glory.
A pair of Mid Century Modern booth style sofas
This unusual pair of sofas date from the 1960’s. They would be perfect for a hotel or office reception area or large living room. As with most of our furniture waiting to be restored, these pieces will take a bit of imagination to see their future beauty. We would be happy to discuss different design options and offer advice about a look that would sit well with an existing design palette.
After Pierre Guariche: a pair of G10 style Mid Century Modern lounge chairs
The design of these chairs has been influenced by the famous 1950’s French designer, Pierre Guariche. They have seen better days but could look stunning again if reupholstered in a striking geometric pattern, a brightly coloured textured woollen fabric, or even leather. They would be perfect for an elegant living room, office or restaurant.
After Pierre Guariche: a G10 style Mid Century Modern lounge chair
The G10 chair became an instant best seller for Pierre Guariche, through the high-end furniture company Airborne, in the 1950’s and 60’s. The classic design influenced other furniture makers of that era: offering the same high quality workmanship for a lower price. This chair is structurally sound but the upholstery needs updating. You could mirror the original two-tone upholstery or go for something completely different.
